Installation Overview

Make certain the firearm is completely unloaded and remove all ammunition from the work area.
Remove the magazine cap screw, original magazine spring, and follower.
Insert the polished aluminum sleeve into the magazine tube.
Install the new stainless-steel follower and magazine spring.
Reinstall and secure the magazine cap screw.

Measuring rifle barrel length from the forward end of the carrier — Measure from the forward end of the carrier to the end of the barrel

Measure Before Selecting Your Kit Measure the barrel length from the forward end of the carrier to the end of the barrel, as shown above. Use this measurement when selecting the correct sleeve-kit length.

Firearm Safety and Function Check Make certain the rifle is completely unloaded before servicing the magazine tube. After installation, verify that the cap screw is secure and function-check the magazine and action with appropriate dummy rounds before using live ammunition.

38 spl sleeve kit fix

I purchased this after market sleeve kit. The hope was to fix my 1873 uberti rifle 38spl feeding problem, which was jamming and not loading properly. The badman bullet system not only was easy to install (my cat did it) but it made 38's load even better! Very happy customer. Thanks.

This is the second one I have purchased for a second 73. I haven’t had any problems with the magazine before or after installing it. The idea that the loads are in a better alignment just seems to make sense being Uberti uses a 45 cal. Magazine for 357/38.

I'm very happy with the overall. Easy to install and perfect fit. It does what it is designed to do. I ordered for the 24" barrel and can only load 7 rounds of 38 special. Coil spring stack I would presume. I might reduce the spring length by a few inches, but that is my choice and have yet to decide. Highly recommend the product.

I think you have something else going on there as the spring is designed to hold 10+ rounds of 38 Special. I use the 20” version and can very easily get 10 rounds of 38 Special in it.

If you have a .357 Magnum Uberti, you need this upgrade. It's a quick drop in that works exactly as described. Buy one and you won't regret it!

Well made, easy install The springs are actually made to the various barrel lengths unlike some competitors who have a one size fits all spring. Made loading and cycling much smoother.
