Developed for Competition-Tuned Uberti 1873 Rifles Developed by TK4B Enterprises, makers of SliXprings and SliXpins, the SliXpring-Main is designed to complement an already properly tuned and short-stroked Uberti 1873 rifle or carbine.
The initial cocking action may feel slightly more positive or brisk than a conventional leaf spring. Once moving through the hammer cycle, the system operates smoothly while providing fast, dependable hammer travel.

Two Performance Axles Included
Select the axle that provides the preferred balance of lock speed, primer ignition, and lever-cycle feel.
Standard Axle
Provides the fastest available lock time and the most positive primer ignition while maintaining a smooth action cycle.
Smaller-Diameter Axle
Provides noticeably faster lock time than a conventional leaf spring with a slightly lighter, smoother lever-cycle feel.
Fitment Information
Differences in bolts, hammers, lower tangs, action frames, machining tolerances, and previous tuning prevent every rifle from having identical dimensions. The kit is manufactured so a qualified installer can fit and align it for proper operation with minimal alteration.
Important Lower-Tang Compatibility Notice The kit will not fit earlier square-bridge lower tangs or some Border Rifle tangs without modification to the tang. Inspect and confirm the lower-tang configuration before beginning installation.
Individual Fitting Is Required
The SliXpring-Main is not a one-size-fits-all drop-in replacement. Installation should be performed by someone familiar with fitting and tuning the Uberti 1873 action. Our practice installations have typically required approximately one hour.

After installation, verify proper hammer operation, firing-pin function, sear engagement, and safety operation before using live ammunition.
