What Is Included
The standard Shell Sorter includes three durable sorting pans. The optional .380 plate can be added when you need to separate 9mm from .380 Auto cases.

Sort Several Calibers at Once
The three primary pans are labeled for common calibers including .45 ACP, .40 S&W, and 9mm, but they can sort many additional calibers. The chart below shows where several common cases will be collected.

Fastest sorting method: Stack all three pans together with the yellow pan on top and the black pan on the bottom. This allows several calibers to be separated at the same time.

Separate Small Cases and Debris
Small cases such as .22 and .17, along with dirt, tumbling media, and other debris, pass through the bottom sorter and fall into the bucket.

Helpful Sorting Tips

Sort before tumbling. Cases nested inside one another are more likely to separate during sorting before tumbling media becomes packed between them.

Use it as a media separator. Pour your tumbled brass into the appropriate sorter and shake. The media falls into the bucket while the brass remains in the pan.

Take it to the range. Sort your collected brass before leaving so you only bring home the calibers you reload.
Built for Regular Use
The Shell Sorter is made from tough ABS plastic and is designed to provide years of service. During durability testing, a sorter was placed beneath a vehicle tire without breaking or becoming distorted—and it continued to work afterward.
Shell Sorters are popular with IDPA, USPSA, Cowboy Action, and other high-volume shooters who want a faster way to process mixed range brass.
Used-Brass Safety Always wear protective safety glasses, gloves and a suitable dust mask when handling used brass or tumbling media because they may contain lead dust and other residue.
