Ok, had a Marbles 1/16 sight on my Marlin 1894 carbine. Purchased the bead so my tired old eyes could catch a break. Quick and easy to pull the factory bead from the sight, then I used tiny drill bits in a tool handle to open up the hole--unfortunately, by the time I got the hole opened up enough the steel wall was so thin it split when I pressed in the new Slix bead. No problem, I had a Marbles 3/32 sight in the spare parts box. Mounted the sight on the carbine, pulled the factory bead, and only had to use the tiny bit a small amount to open up the factory crimps. I then used J&B Weld to attach it permanently. Great addition to my CAS carbine!
