Conical-Bullet Consideration Because the SliX-Ram extends farther into the chamber than the original ram, seating some conical projectiles may be more difficult. Consider your intended projectile before replacing the original loading ram.

The SliX-Ram is designed as a near drop-in replacement and can be installed in place of the original ram during routine cleaning or maintenance.

Unfinished Mild-Steel Construction The SliX-Ram is supplied in unfinished 12L14 mild steel. Clean and dry it after use, then apply an appropriate protective oil to help prevent surface rust and corrosion.
Critical Black Powder Loading Safety A round ball or projectile must always be seated firmly against the powder charge with no air gap. Never use smokeless powder in a black powder revolver. Follow published load data and all Ruger loading and safety instructions. Make certain the revolver is uncapped and pointed in a safe direction during loading.
