Two Functions in One Compact Tool The rimmed end checks the shell for proper fit. The knurled end resizes an oversized hull with a simple twisting motion.

How to Use the Checker-Sizer

Drop the loaded shell into the rimmed checker end.
A properly sized shell should slide easily into and out of the checker.
If the shell does not pass, insert it approximately ¼ inch into the knurled sizing end.
Twist the shell while applying light pressure.
Check the shell again to confirm that it now fits correctly.

Check your shells before placing them in your belt for each shooting stage.
Compact and convenient enough to keep in your gun cart or range bag.
Always use the Checker-Sizer made for the gauge of the shotshell being checked.

Checking and Resizing Shotshells

Properly sized shotgun shell passing through the SliX Checker-Sizer — **1. Check the shell:** A properly sized shotshell slides easily into and out of the checker.

Oversized shotgun shell that does not fit into the SliX Checker-Sizer — **2. Identify an oversized shell:** A shell that does not fit properly should be resized.

Resizing a shotgun shell with the SliX Checker-Sizer — **3. Resize and recheck:** Insert the shell approximately ¼ inch into the sizing end, then twist while applying light pressure.

I use the sizer/checker for cowboy action shooting. This device will taper the shot shells so they enter the barrels of my side by side smoothly.

This item is a very handy size, extremely well made, and costs far less than some of its competitors. Nice item to have on hand at your next shoot.

Buy This.
I was amazed at how out of round *factory* hulls were directly from the box. This check gage provides fast and effective inspection AND correction of "wonky" shells.

Consider what the value is of NOT having a shell hang-up during a "on the clock" reload... This is now a critical accessory to my cart.
