Why a Chamber Scraper Is Helpful Firing shorter cartridges in a longer chamber can leave a stubborn carbon and lead ring. If allowed to accumulate, this buildup can interfere with chambering, extraction, and the proper fit of longer cartridges.

Select the Correct Scraper Each SliX Scraper is made for the caliber shown in the product options. The .45 Colt scraper is intended for .45 Colt chambers. For a .460 Magnum cylinder—including the longer chamber area used with .454 Casull ammunition—select the .460 Magnum scraper.

If you shoot 38spl. In a 357. Its a must

You cant always do a thorough cleaning between matches . But a carbon’d up cylinder needs something to scrape out the carbon and quick .so loading is possible Again.

I haven't used this product. Yet. I hope never to do so. But buying it is peace of mind. I own it and if/when I need it will be able to put my hands on it immediately.

Perfect solution to pesky problem

I have a Smith & Wesson Model 66 that I use for both 357 Magnum and 38 Special reloads. It got to the point where 357 Magnum were difficult to seat in the cylinder because of the crud from the 38 Specials.

Less than 5 minutes with this gadget and the problem was resolved.

A must-have for 357/38SPL and 44 Mag/44SPL revolvers.

With luck a 460 S&W Magnum version will be available for those of us that shoot 45 Colt/454 Casull/460 S&W in our XVRs.

Chamber scraper

The scraper I purchased from you worked great , although I thought that it should have been drilled and tapped on the other end . So it could of had a threaded cleaning rod screwed into it . Overall , it did cut the carbon out of the chamber of my 73’. Splitthumb

The scraper has a male thread on the end so it will accept a standard 8-32 cleaning rod. This is clearly listed in the instructions and shown on the product page. Happy to hear you like it though.

Great little tool that does so much.
My wife's 38 cal rifle was jamming up at the breech. After using the Slix prings Scraper the bullets no longer stuck in breech. I always clean my guns after shooting, but there was too much build up of carbon left. Thanks again.Mike

Gets the black rings out!!

Cleans the black ring that forms in the chamber of a .357 mag when using .38 spl ammo.
Very simple and easy to use. Only takes seconds to clean..

I shoot USPSA and ICORE many thousands of rounds a year, including practice.
This tool found no residue in my cylinder to clean out. I can not comment if it's a good tool, only that I did't need it.
