45 Caliber 230 Grain RN Polymer Samples Qty 25

These look great and seem to be a very quality product. I have not shot them yet but am looking forward to doing so very soon. I did not measure any of these but seemed to be a bit "Bigger" than the standard copper FMJ I had just loaded prior to receiving these. Still not an issue as I tried all of them in my Sig P220 barrel and they fit perfect.

Yes… ALL Lead/Polymer bullets are designed to be .001” “Bigger” than Jacketed bullets to allow for proper obturation in the barrel. Make sure to allow for additional bell in your case mouth to prevent any shaving of lead/polymer when seating the bullet.

I used these with 6.5 gr CFE pistol powder. They performed great in my pistol. I would use them again.

I have been casting bullets for a long time. Tried many lubes but always had a problem with leading. I have fired factory duplicate loads with no leading with the polymers. Leading problem over!
I bought the samples because you were out of stock on 500s.
I reload 380,9mm &45acp.

Easy to reload pretty accurate, wish I could buy more and in 9mm, but there are shortages due to the wuhan China virus scare of 2020. the good stuff gets bought quick

I bought 230 and 160 gr. "Coated" bullets from Badman, I weighed and measured Many MANY of them -- all bullets were Over-size and Over-weight. The 230's were from 232 to 234+ gr. and were .453+, so much for "sizing after coating".
To be fair I also bought 230's from 2 other bullet makers and 160's from another - All Coated -- and Each of them were identical in Over-size and over-weight spec's. They ALL showed a very visible bulge in loaded case's but at least they shot.
I will continue to seek some coated bullets that are Correct size and weight but I really do Not expect to because the Pride in Well made bullets appear to be a thing of the past.

You stated you bought from us plus "3 other bullet companies" and you say "all 4 companies" have over sized bullets. FWIW we mostly all use the same brand of sizing dies. By your logic you are saying that the dies we all use are oversized. Not likely asread more those dies are all certified to be the correct diameter right from the factory. My guess is you are using a cheap digital caliper made in China. Why would we offer oversized bullets to our customers and be as backlogged and busy as we are with extremely high repeat business?

I bought the sample pack to determine how my 45ACPs shot with these. I just ordered 1000 and will order more once in stock. Awesome bullets as always from Badman

Compared to another copper plated variety of bullet my results were fantastic.

Copper plated: Extreme spread 39, Standard deviation 14

Badman: Extreme spread 18, Standard deviation 8

Also picked up another 100 fps with .2 grains less powder. Very pleased.

I have loaded up a batch of your bullets for my .45 ACP Mod .1911-A1 to jacketed bullet specs.with the 230 gr.bullets you sent me.I went out to my shooting area and shot 14 rounds
and was well pleased with them. I examined the barrel and found no fouling at all. I'm pleased, Thanks for asking.
