Perfect addition to an 1873 rifle.

I purchased this after market sleeve kit. The hope was to fix my 1873 uberti rifle 38spl feeding problem, which was jamming and not loading properly. The badman bullet system not only was easy to install (my cat did it) but it made 38's load even better! Very happy customer. Thanks.

This is the second one I have purchased for a second 73. I haven’t had any problems with the magazine before or after installing it. The idea that the loads are in a better alignment just seems to make sense being Uberti uses a 45 cal. Magazine for 357/38.

I'm very happy with the overall. Easy to install and perfect fit. It does what it is designed to do. I ordered for the 24" barrel and can only load 7 rounds of 38 special. Coil spring stack I would presume. I might reduce the spring length by a few inches, but that is my choice and have yet to decide. Highly recommend the product.

I think you have something else going on there as the spring is designed to hold 10+ rounds of 38 Special. I use the 20” version and can very easily get 10 rounds of 38 Special in it.

If you have a .357 Magnum Uberti, you need this upgrade. It's a quick drop in that works exactly as described. Buy one and you won't regret it!

Well made, easy install The springs are actually made to the various barrel lengths unlike some competitors who have a one size fits all spring. Made loading and cycling much smoother.

I got as an addition to a overhaul job I did to one of my competition rifles. I think it helps keep things running a little smoother, in the 38 rifle, the mag tubes are all 45 diameter, the sleeve kit keeps the ammo in the mag tube straight which allows smoother function of the rifle action.

The unit installed in under 5 minutes (make sure you carefully remove and reinstall the mag tube end cap to control the follower and spring).

A full load of 10 rounds fed and ejected flawlessly with no hangups whatsoever.
