Item arrived early in secure packaging. Manufacturing consistency of the bullets is very evident.

These bullets are ideal for modern production firearms chambered in 44-40. The new ones have 0.429” bores. The crimping groove prevents bullet setback in the case when under spring pressure in tubular magazines. They are also very accurate in my 1860 Henry reproductions rifle.

I reload a lot of .44 cal ammo: 44Spl, 44Mag, 44Colt, and 44WCF. I was having problems with a recently acquired Win ‘73, and Patrick sent me a very generous supply of various samples, along with suggested loadings. He was right on point with his suggestions, and I will use this bullet in either .428 or .430 in all of my 44s. Outstanding product with outstanding customer service.
