Easy installation, and I saw immediate improvement over stock nipples. I've only put a hundred or so rounds down range,but overall I'm impressed.

Haven't shot with the new nipples yet, but have read several positive reviews and expect good results. Will comment after I get to the range.

Just received my order (again) of SliXshot nipples. I go thru a lot if them, setting up Cap Guns for CAS.

I have a peitta 1851 navy and I was having a fail to fire at lest once per fully loaded cylinder. I tried differant powders and caps none worked any better. I come across these searching the Internet so I tried them. after about 72 rounds I have not had one miss fire. well worth the money I will put these on every black powder revolver I own.

Colts need Slix shot nipples to prevent them from eating caps. Found that out the first time I shot one. Then a little chamfer so the ball sweges in instead of getting cut up on the edges and then colts are perfect and problem free -love em.

The nipples are much better than the Pietta nipples that came in the gun. But the package said for #10 caps. All I had were #11 caps CCI. But it was to tight to fit the nipples. The only caps that fit well were Vorderlader Zundhutchen #11. They fell out of the pistol as designed, but any other cap fell into the gun and I had to tear it down to clear it after every shot. Got any clues where I can find more of those caps?

I have Slixshot nipples in both my Uberti and Pietta cap and ball revolvers and love them!

They keep the caps from fragmenting allowing the caps to fall off properly during cylinder rotation. I have never had a misfire with them and find them to be of better quality than the Italian nipples.

Ordered cones (nipples) for Uberti 1858 and Ruger Old Army. Have not used but beautifully machined and items arrived very quickly. Will go to Badman for supplies needed in the future. Very happy.

I am just a novice only recently involved with black powder revolvers. I haven't fired any yet! As soon as I read about Slixshot nipples, I was convinced to order a set and replace my 51 colt navy's with them.
I am very pleased with them and the service rendered by Badman Bullets and expect to be very happy with their performance when I actually fire this gun!

These fit my pistol perfectly and all the caps fit and fired off! A great upgrade for my pistol.

The dimensions are right on the money, and I have no complaints about the quality. What a great product!

They didn't even make it a year before they deformed. I do not dry fire this revolver and they deformed so that I can not cap them any more.

The revolver needs to be tuned properly which includes fitting the cylinder and dressing the hammer. SlixSprings Nipples are not designed for heavy springs either. This customer never made an attempt to contact us regarding this matter. We would honor the product and send replacements along with help tuning the gun. We have original nipples that were used for testing in 2010 without heat treatment or hardening and they are still functioning fine today.

had out my uberti colt walker twice since I swapped on my new slixshot nips this year(2016). haven't had a single misfire. very good investment if you value your range time!

Great product. I have these cones installed on my 1860 Army. The caps flatten out nicely and drop to the ground when the cylinder is rotated. The caps do not get hung up between the hammer and frame or between the cylinder and frame as they would sometimes do. The 1860 Quigly used in the famous shoot out scene must have had similar cones, LOL!

These nipples really work to prevent cap sucking.

I had pretty well moved away from shooting my cap and ball revolvers because they jammed regularly. I had just recently picked up an 1851 so I decided to equip it with Slix Shots, as well as my 1860 which was a notorious cap sucker. The Slix Shots did the trick. I have yet to encounter any jamming with them.

Changed to these nipples from the stock Pietta nipples on my 1851 Navy pistol. No caps getting caught up in the cylinders. Caps [No. 10s] go on without problems. Caps fire consistently and I think have improved my scores. Recommend this a great upgrade for the 1851 Pistol.

Nipple are too long for Uberti 1873 Cattlemen black powder revolver. Interfere with cylinder rotation. Will try to shorten by filing to make work.

These nipples work perfectly. No jamming from spent caps. I recommend them for all of your cap and ball revolvers.

Order for nipples was shipped promptly. Easily installed on Uberti 1858. Fired #10 caps stay in place as the cylinder advances, but are easily removed with fingertip for reloading. Intend to order a set for 1860 Army.

I used them for the first time Saturday, flawless, no jams, no misfire!!!

I use Slix Shots on both a 48 Dragoon and a 58 Remington. I have had nothing but great results with both. The Remington was not bad to begin with but the Dragoon has been given new life. It's fun to shoot it again.

Purchased the Slixshot nipples for my Pietta 1860 army. They work great and just about eliminate the caps from falling into the action and jamming. I ordered these on a Saturday and received them on Monday afternoon, I don't know how Badman can get a product from the west coast to the Texas gulf coast that fast, but they did. Outstanding!!!!

These nipples greatly reduce the amount of powder residue that gums up the hammer and cylinder assembly making the gun easier to clean.

Put these on 5 cap and ball revolvers I own - I'm hooked! Remington No.10 caps fit perfectly with no more fired caps "down in the works" jamming up the gun.

These nipple's are worth every penny. Better ignition,best of all they keep cap's and pieces of caps out of the work's. They beat the factory ones by 100%. If you like cap and ball revolver's then I highly recommend these nipple's
