New Slix-Shot black powder nipples are made from 416 stainless steel and designed to increase ignition performance and reliability. Nipples have an enlarged chamber leading to the flash hole, allowing for a hotter spark. Stainless construction prevents rust corrosion.

SliXshot Nipples work BEST with Remington #10, CCI #11, Winchester #11 and RWS 1075 Standard or Magnum Caps. Available for Uberti, Pietta, Ruger Old Army, Walker and Dragoon percussion revolvers: .36, .44 and .45 Caliber. 1851 thru 1861 Models. Will also work on the 1873 Cattleman by Uberti and the 1851 Spiller and Burr by Pietta.

pocket pistol nipples

They fit as if they were factory and CCI caps fit the cone properly. I haven't had a chance to fire the revolver yet due to medical issues with my wife and grand daughter. Wife is OK now, but grand daughter passed away this past Wednesday. I don't foresee any issues with these nipples, but will let you know if there are any.

Excellent Upgrade

I have these on all of my BP revolvers. They are a superior design and reduce problems at the range. I noticed far fewer cap fragments in the works also. I always tilt the gun to the right when cocking anyway while staying on target. These are awesome, get some!

They are installed on my 1847 Walker
I have yet to fire the pistol at the range but I will update this review when I get to the range and try them out

If I buy a new Pistol or replacement cylinder I order SliXShot nipples at the same time, won't shoot without them. Also you can't beat the service from Badman Bullets

I have been shooting C&B revolvers in cowboy action shooting since 1986 and these are, by far, the very best nipples on the market. Fit perfectly and function beautifully. On ribbed caps, the side vents blow out the side of the cap, helping prevent the spent cap from getting between the hammer and back of the recoil shield.
