Uberti 1858 goes bang everytime now. Also the Rem #10 caps fit great, don't even need to pinch the caps to get them to stay on.

Quality is excellent, best I have used to date. Ordered nipples for 5 of my pistols. The driver is also high quality, well worth the money. Size makes it easier to use.

I am new to black powder revolvers so I researched what experienced shooters were doing to fix problems I was having. They all recommended replacing the original nipples with SliXshot nipples. I bought a set to try out. I liked them so much that I bought 5 more sets for my other black powder cylinders.

These nipples are great. I use them in all my revolvers. I replace them every (2) two years and the older ones are still in good shape to keep as spares. I highly recommend to all revolver shooters (one less thing to worry about)

Black powder muzzleloaders is the only type of gun I own I use them for target practice, hunting along with home protection. The 50 caliber rifles are great for hunting but not when it comes to protecting your house. The reliability of my Colt 44 went from 60% to 98% after adding these cones. If you want reliability this is definitely the cones you should be putting on any of your black powder revolvers. Great customer service and a great experience badman has earned a customer for life.

I bought a Uberti made Colt Walker and couldn't get reliable ignition. I tried different caps nipples powders and just couldn't get better than 60/70% success. I did some online research and found Slix shots nipples, I switched out the old crappy ones and installed the Slix nips and now I'm thrilled! My horse pistol fires EVERY time. Now these WORK, if you have doubt rest assured.

Replaced the nipples on my Pietta 1860s with these and I’m pleased. The only problem encountered was if I tried to shove the caps on too tightly I split the skirt on the Rem #10 caps and they would fall off. Lots of opportunity here for double entendres regarding split skirts falling off but I ain’t going there.

This along with slicking up my gun completely eliminated cap jams on my 1860 Army and 1861 Navy both guns are completely different animals now and I love shooting them I’d recommend this purchase for any colt cap and ball revolver

I have installed SliXshot nipples on my brace of 1858 Remington's as well as my Walker and Dragoon and these nipples preform very well. I have my hammers set light and a few of the caps fly off when ignited but I have yet to get a cap in the action. I use exclusively Remington #10's

Works as advertised. The fit was perfect with no binding on the threads. #10 Remington caps fit perfect and are easily placed on by hand. Went through twenty shots all firing the first time. Most caps fall off in a star shaped pattern. I like the way they work and it is a big improvement over the factory nipples.

I recently purchased sets of slixshot nipples for my Uberti 2nd Model Dragoon, and my Uberti 1860 Army. The nipples fit the cylinders perfectly; and both revolvers fired flawlessly. Also, the Remington #10 caps I use fit on to the nipples perfectly as well.

My new 1860 army was having the infamous cap jam problem. After watching videos suggesting Slixshot, I decided to give them a try. Seeing that Badman Bullets is a vet owned business, being a vet myself, ordered from them. The Slixshot nipples solved the problem of cap jams!!!! If you can, get the driver too. It fits the nipples perfectly and works great.

After cleaning and lubricating the cylinder the replacement nipples installed flawlessly. I was also happy with the surface finish and machining tolerances.

These things work. I messed up at first because I had a ton of Remington No. 11 caps mixed in with my No. 10s. Once I realized my mistake, I put the Remington No. 10s on and the nipples functioned flawlessly.

The Slixshot nipples I purchased from Badman, are by far the best I've ever had the pleasure to use in my 1858 stainless model new army 44 cal. No jamming of the cylinder and holds the cap's in place perfectly.... Good job guys, all my bo gun's will be converted to Slixshots, my ole shooter's hat brim is tipped to you boys.

Picked up a 30 year old never been fired 3rd model Dragoon from ASM. I have SlixShot nipples in my other Pietta 1860 Army and they are a huge help in the cap falling in the works problem. Emailed Patrick to see what size for this gun. He told me remove my factory nipple measure etc, sent the info to him and he had a match. Rec very quickly, installed and tried it last weekend, and it performed perfect. These nipples do not disappoint, I would not want to ever go back to the stock nipples, too much hassle...worth the money. I would highly recommend these for all black powder pistols, a must have!!

So far, I've put these nipples on about a dozen revolvers. There have been zero cap jams. The only problem with the cap not going off was because I didn't get it seated on the nipple far enough. That was my fault. Once I figured out that I needed to press them on a little more there have been zero misfires and zero cap jams.

Put these on a Cimarron Walker and Uberti cap and ball. Ignition is positive and reliable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I haven't had the chance to try yet so can't give a 5 star but I like the looks of them. My other two have Ampco nipples and the work real good so I have something good to compare them to when I get the opportunity to try them.

The slix shot nipples I purchased for my 51 colt navy are very hard to get the no 10 caps on, I dont know if they were manufactured incorrectly or what, I push so hard to get them seat I'm afraid I may set one off, so I went no 11 caps. Overall I'm not to happy with them, but time will tell.

Sorry for the delay in responding to you guy's --but the weather here in Wisconsin has NOT been favorable ! Took my pistol out to the range --fired a total of 18 rounds ---before my hands turned into lobster claw's due to the 14 degree's above zero weather. Had ZERO bit's & piece's of cap's fall into the action pistol worked as it should have worked ---when it get's a bit warmer ---I'll give it a better work-out but I'm very pleased with the nipples .

#10 rem caps fit snug as a bug. Complete elimination of cap sucking.
Each cap clamshells,and ejects as designed.
Warning: using these nipples will tempt you to use your C&B as your home defence go to. I know I can fire 6, as sure as the sun rises. Just having trouble breaking with modern high capacity. Enjoy brothers.

Turned a boat anchor pietta into a fun plinking toy without putting a stiffer mainspring in the gun. Cci caps do not fit these nipples Remington #10 works best.

These SlixShot Nipples took my Uberti 1860 Colt Army from completely unusable to 99% reliable. With the stock nipples it would either misfire or blow the cap apart and jam up the action.now it always fires the #10 Remington cap and they stay in one pice. Amazing night and day difference in reliability.
