45/70 405 Grain RNFP Qty 500

I worked up some loads for the 405 grain 45-70 bullets, and found the sweet spot. These bullets out perform the factory rounds. At 50 yards with open sights (the 12" target is filled by the bead of the sight at 50 yards, very hard shot) I was able to pull off a 1" group! Wow.

These bullets are the most accurate cast bullets I have ever shot. Tried them all and cast my own for 50 years now and these are the most CONSISTENT I have used. I will be ordering these from now on.

these 405 grain RNFP bullets for my 45-70 govt are just like all cast bullets that I've bought from Badman Bullets, excellent in every way and a good looking bullet. Great workmanship! Very Pleased! MC

These are great shooting bullets. Easy to load and very accurate......

Loading these with 26 & 27 grains 5744 powder,,,,works great.

Will try 4198 powder next

Want to stay in the 1200ish FPS range...

Old School Reloader: You gotta have a gas check on your bullet or it will lead your barrel? I says, "Old School, Read the literature!" These lubed bullets by Badman will handle that!

I have been ordering these bullets for severel years.I have found them to be just the right lead mixture so as not to lead up my barrel. I use these for target shooting and use a lighter load so I can shoot my 45-70 without the heavy recoil, making it more enjoyable to shoot.

Use these for my cowboy long range, as well as for deer hunting! Great rounds!

I've been using these 405 grain bullets for a few years now and the results are always the same. (accurate) The 3 lube rings work very well in my rifle and leading is no issue. If you are a serious shooter I suggest you try some their great.

Being fairly new to cast bullets and the 45-70 , I purchased 500 405 grain RNFP's to work up a mid-range , do-all load for three 45-70 rifles I own . At first , I could not get any better than a shotgun pattern at 100 yards . As my rifles shot jacketed bullets very well , I knew I didn't have a problem with them . I weighed and measured the bullets and they were spot-on . With a simple change to my loading technique , I am now seeing groups in the 1.5 to 2 inch range with tang mounted sights . This is a good product and I will be buying more .
