Great results in my 44-40 Vaquero

Eric J. - 10/31/2015

I'm shooting these bullets in my 7-1/2" Vaquero in 44-40. Excellent accuracy and no leading at 800 fps. Shooting off of sandbags at 15 yards, I get 10 shot groups under 1 inch.

My new go-to cast bullet

Allen - 07/02/2023

I reload a lot of .44 cal ammo: 44Spl, 44Mag, 44Colt, and 44WCF. I was having problems with a recently acquired Win ‘73, and Patrick sent me a very generous supply of various samples, along with suggested loadings. He was right on point with his suggestions, and I will use this bullet in either .428 or .430 in all of my 44s. Outstanding product with outstanding customer service.

Perfect match

Dimrod - 08/12/2023

These bullets are ideal for modern production firearms chambered in 44-40. The new ones have 0.429” bores. The crimping groove prevents bullet setback in the case when under spring pressure in tubular magazines. They are also very accurate in my 1860 Henry reproductions rifle.
