I wanted to try a lighter bullet in my cowboy guns chambered in 44WCF. Specifically, Taylor's Smoke Wagon Deluxe and Marlin 1894 with Microgroove rifling. The chamber throats on the Smoke Wagons measure a bit over,430 so the 430 diameter bullets work well. All three guns shoot these bullets well with BlackMZ powder. I shared 200 bullets with a friend who loaded them in 44 Special for his Ruger Vaqueros with good resusts.
