I was a first time customer, so was unsure of what to expect. No worries here as the package was as advertised and delivered very expediently. I have not installed the SliXshot yet because I want to shoot the factory first so I can compare.

The SliXshot nipples work as advertised. I have had no problems at all with them. I had a small issue with my order and I received the best immediate and personal service that I could imagine. I have been a Technology Manager supporting Customer Call Centers for over 20 years and not once have I seen this level of support and service. It is clear to me that Badman Bullets produces a superior product and they really care about their customers. I am a customer for life.

I use my Black Powder pistols for CAS and the SLIXshot Nipples are fantastic I have not experienced a cap jam since using them. I highly recommend them.

I replaced my ROA's nipples with the SLIXshot BP nipples and am ecstatic with the result. I fired 30 shots with them and Remington #10 percussion caps today without a single misfire. Let me assure you that wasn't the case with the Ruger nipples or the Uncle Mike's the gun previously wore.. With those nipples, failure to fire was common, often taking two hammer strikes to fire each cap and chamber. No more stuck caps with the SLIXshots either! Those problems are now a thing of the past and the revolver is once again a pleasure to shoot;

I have always had a problem with cap jams when using my Black Powder pistols at a match. When I changed to SliXshot nipples that all ended. No jams at all. I wouldn't have believed it.

Hands down the best nipples for cap guns! Fit like a glove. These are for my first ever set of 1860 Army Uberti BP shooters. Badman Bullets rushed them to me in no time. Voluminous clouds of billowy white smoke! Oh! The Joy!

ordered new nipples for my navy 1851 black powder pistol, great product and fast shipping.

I purchased two sets one for my Pietta replica black powder pistols one for my 1858 Remington and one for my 1860 Colt Army. Definately and worthy upgrade. Easier to clean and had no misfires or jams, especially my 1860 which previously I could barely get through one cylinder without the caps jamming up the action. I highly recommend this product.

OK, I have had this Uberti Navy for five years; never have I been able to shoot more than three times without a jam. I've studied everything, tried every cap out there, nothing made the gun more functional. That was until I opened the mail today (two days after I ordered the Slix Shot nipples). The gun did not fail to cycle, every time, without blown caps jamming the mechanism. I am amazed. Before ordering you answered my questions about the ability to continue to use my Cash rachet wrench. Your nipples are the answer to so many like me, who love the old guns and reproductions, but hate not being able to have them shoot dependably without a major investment in tuning. Thank you so much for a fine product and excellent customer service.

Work great. Solved the problem with caps jamming the action. Just like shooting a cartridge gun. Planning on installing these in all c@b guns.

They seem to work well with CCI #11and Remington #10 but not so well with #1075 RWS caps

The gun I tried them on, a Uberti 1861 Navy they ran with out a problem.
I have some SlixShot nipples on a 1860 Army and they worked very well.

I recently bought another set of ROA's that had been tuned too far from the mounted crowd. I had several misfires in their first match. A shim in the Wolf Springs & these nipples - clean match!

Excellent product!

Everything about these cones is quality. Fit and finish is excellent and they perform exceptionally well. My only warning is that if you own any older model Uberti's be aware that the thread pattern is not the same as on newer models. I have 2 New Army copies from the 1970's and the new cones will not thread in. I'm not certain to the pitch on the old models but just be advised these will not fit. Other then that they have been perfect in all my other Uberti and Pietta CB pistols.

Replaced 12 factory nipples, and had no problems at all during the match for the first time. Will definetly recommend to any body.

I bought these for my 1858 Remington and they fit perfectly and performed as they said they would. Their a bit pricey but well worth the cost.

slixshot BP nipples fit my peitta
1851 navy colt and helped prevent pulled caps. But the shape of the nipple is not as tapered as the stock nipples and this makes it difficult to use my TED CASH percussion capper.Not happy about that.

While I wasn't sure about replacing my Navy and Walker with 'aftermarket' items, these really did pass the test and work as advertised (and improve the shooting of both!) Strongly recommend anyone with those guns (.44 BP revolvers) to upgrade!

slix shot nipples and pieta factory nipples on an 1861 pieta colt navy repro, showed no appreciable difference in fragments or function.

I have a Peitta 1851 Colt Navy 44cal. Had a problem with caps splitting and causing jams. the Slixshot nipples fixed it shoots great no problem after 30 rounds not one jam, worth the price.

These cones (19th Century term for "nipples") were a snug fit on my Armi San Marcos 1851 Navy revolver but did the trick. They offered a strong spark and really expanded the cap. I did find that the percussion caps fit a bit loose on each cone but should fit a bit more snugly over time with carbon build up and repeated strikes.

These perform exactly as they are advertised to do. No more caps backing off and falling down into the hammer area. Price is a little steep but they are a quality product and you get what you pay for.

I installed the new nipples just in time to go to the True Grit shoot in Roseburg Oregon. The guns never had a single misfire. Package said to use #10 caps. I could only find CCI and they were too tight. I had some REM #11 that were borderline loose. From some research I think that CCI #11 or REM # 10 will fit just right.

Works as advertised. Allows me to use a wider variety of percussion caps.

These are great. Better than stock nipples on my 1851 colt navy. No cap sucking.

I've not shot my pistol with the product yet, but the machining looks very clean. my pietta threads didn't appear to be machined all the way 100% accurate, so some of the nipples felt like they were tight but in fact needed to be further tightened, i had an issue with the cylinder rotating because they didn't seat far enough, this isn't an issue with the nipples, just an FYI with pietta. Now that they are corrected seated, revolver cycles fine. cannot wait to shoot it. cci #10 and #11 appear to fit ok, once i shoot i can tell which ones stay and which fall off.

I've two sets of these now. They help with the broken caps falling in the action. The fact that they are stainless let me know when I've got them clean after shooting. Big improvement over stock.
