I purchased these stainless steel nipples because of UTube Videos users that had installed them on their percussion revolvers. They advertised that these nipples corrected the malfunctions caused by being sucked off the nipples by the hammer during cocking after firing. These nipples drastically reduce malfunctions caused by caps falling into the cocking mechanism. Great product. Have purchased them for all my percussion revolvers.

The (Factory) nipples that my Uberti Walker shipped with were off sized. #10 CCI caps were WAY to small to fit and #11 CCI caps were too big and fell off all the time. These replacement nipples were perfect for #11 CCI. The caps fit snugly, functioned flawlessly. Fast shipping too!

Have put Slixshot Black Powder Nipples in all three of my BP revolvers. They work great, no more misfires. Easy to clean. When I order another BP revolver I will also order Slixshots for it.

Even after some slight tuning mods to the hammer face and stock cones I had all but given up on a day at the range without multiple cap jams (about every 3rd shot) BUT NOT ANYMORE. My 1860 Army by Pietta is almost as reliable as any cartridge revolver now and a joy to shoot! Slixshots are great! I used Winchester Magnum BP #11 caps and they have a snug fit, giving a good gas seal. These cones also split the cap just right when fired so they rotate out and off as the intended. I shot 60 rounds and only had a couple of draggers. NO jams in the action. VERY SATISFIED

For those with the Ruger Old Army, these SLIXshot Nipples are exceptional, because they do not require the special Ruger Wrench. A regular nipple wrench will do it.

Great improvement to your black powder rig. I installed a set my 1858 Remingtons and 1860 Colts. #10 Rem caps or #11 CCI both fit well. They do what they say they will do!

I put these nipples on four cylinders for my Pietta .44 Remington. Since doing so I have not having a blown cap jam a cylinder. I was able to lighten the mainspring pressure for a lighter trigger pull as well. Black bear, cougar, and coyote are increasing where I live, and this is my preferred sidearm when I go out. Before loading, I like to use canned air through the nipples to clear them. The thin tube on the can actually fits inside this nipple for a firm contact. An excellent product. Thank you.

Slixshot nipples are the only nipples I use on my percussion revolvers. I have them on all 6 of them from .31 cal. to .45 cal.they eliminate a lot of problems that you get with factory nipples. Badman Bullets have always been straight with me and I will buy from them again.

the weather finally cooperated and i got to try out the slixshot nipples in my pietta remington. no jams from spent caps and, although there was some blowback, i didn't have to wash my hands after shooting! the hammer, hand and bolt had some soot on them, but i'd call it a good thing! best nipples i've tried!

I can't recommend these enough, all my cap and balls wear these and they eliminated my cap jams. They even work better than the Treso's they replaced. also another flawless transaction from Badman Bullets with very quick shipping.

These nipples are just the cure for those cap sucking Colt black powder revolvers. Makes shooting them much more pleasant!

By far the best I've tried, and I think I've tried them all.

I have had a chance to shoot my revolvers with the new nipples in place. The difference is incredible! The old, original nipples allowed the caps to fall into the action and jam up the cylinder. These new ones "grab" the caps and hold them, after firing, until I take them off. Much better.
On the down side, I ordered two sets of nipples; one for my Uberti and one for my Pietta. One set had an oversized nipple in it which would not fit. BadMan Bullets was quick, upon notification, to send me a replacement nipple which fit nicely. Perfectly happy with their service.

They fit CCI number 11 caps also Winchester number 11, seem to work well but with a full load of 50 grain by volume of 3f triple seven the caps still blowapart and get in the action of my Colt Dragoon, they work a lot better than factory nipples, they fit perfectly. I use my Colt Dragoon for hunting.

I was having some ignition problems with my Uberti Navy. I replaced the Factory Nipples with these Slix-Shot Nipples, and I'm getting constant ignition now. These are the nicest Nipples I've used on my Ubertis. I highly recommend them!

Best nipples I have used yet. Precision manufactured, stainless steel is aesthetically pleasing and function is flawless. Using Remington #10 caps my Uberti 1851 Navy London functioned flawlessly! Shot 9 gun loads with out one hiccup! Now if you could just please make them for my 2nd gen Colt Pocket Navy. Excellent product and I highly recommend to any black powder revolver enthusiast. Doing research for new nipples. Most of these reviews show good reviews for the Pieta 1858 N.M.A.'s. I'm not seeing good reviews relating to the Uberti 1858 N.M.A.'s. So the messeage I am getting is that these SliXshot nipples will not work in the Uberti 1858 N.M.A.'s out the box, or maybe even not at all.

You will get optimum service from these nipples if your revolvers have been tuned and properly prepared. One size may not exactly fit all. Some versions of the same brand of firearm can have different tolerances but this is very rare. We sell tons of these nipples and at this point in time, NONE of the Uberti nipples have been returned because they would not work. This review is from someone who never made a purchase.

Great Product, superior design and quality, prompt delivery...

I've put these on a Remington 1858 from Pietta and fired nothing but Pyrodex pellets through it - without a single misfire or problem. The Remington #10 caps fit snugly and properly. The stainless steel is easy to clean fouling off with a brass brush.

I put these on all my black powder guns they eliminate caps falling into the mechanism and jamming when shooting.

The Slixshot nipples are great. The only thing that you must know is that the CCI 10 caps do NOT fit on them, you must use the Remington 10's.
