All the reviews are correct, these nipples work and work well. I have shot over 200 rounds without a single problem, no caps fall off or loosen while firing and the caps split well enough that they do not jam the revolver. I have had no problem with CCI, RWS or Remington (including Rem #11). The Rem 11 is shorter than the 10 but still fits tightly and do not fall off. These nipples are worth the cost, many headaches are eliminated.

Well worth the money. Will be picking up sets for any other caplock guns I pick up in the future.

These Slix Shot nipples are really a fantastic addition to my cap & ball revolvers, especially my repro Colts. I use #10 Remington caps and they stay on these Slix Shot nipples far better than the original nipples. I'm buying a set for my collection of cap & ball revolvers.

These are terrific. Put 50 rounds thru my 1851 Pietta Navy so far, and have not had a single cap jam.

The vented holes on the sides break each cap evenly rather than rupturing the "seal" over the nipple, so not only are my jams solved, but I noticed a considerable difference in overall compression (tighter) which led to greater accuracy with each shot.

These are much better than the factory nipples really worth the purchase.

I am in the process of outfitting all my revolvers with Slixshot Cones, only a few more to go... for now. When compared to the factory cones that come with both Pietta and Uberti revolvers Slixshot is a superior product and well worth the cost. You get a reliable shot every time, cap sucking and cap jams are eliminated 99% of the time and they work well with basically all readily available caps, in particular RWS 1075 and CCI #11. I have found that the CCI #11’s are almost unbearably unreliable with factory cones but work perfectly with Slixshot! So do yourself a favor and support this veteran owned company and you will have a revolver that is as reliable as any centerfire!!

Must be the best product around I bought 24 of them and looking to get more. Never a miss Fire so far and they clean easy. I use a guitar string .and when fired they split the caps and fall off the cyclinder real well out of the way no Jamed caps for your next shot. Happy happy

The parts I purchased for my Pietta 1851 make it a better shooter. The nipples seem to be much better than the stock ones.

They work great with the CCI #11. No misfires so far. Great product!!!

Advertisement says use CCI #11, but CCI #11 caps often do not seat fully until the second hammer fall.

As with any caps you should firmly press them on the cones. We have found that some older CCI #11 caps may have this problem. Any of the newer caps work great.

I have noticed the difference betweeen factory nipples and slix shot. Like night and day in ignition and reliability. Have then on all my shooters. Wish you would offer some hot shot nipples for side lock rifles also. You do have a better mousetrap and they work well.

Bought nipples for my 36 caliber they fit great. Have not had a chance to try them out due to catching COVID-19. But I have no doubt that they are just as good as the last ones I purchased.

Got 'em on two Colt .44's and two Remington 1858's- and two spare cylinders for the Remingtons- they work, they're durable, clean well and don't cause spent cap problems. Just what I ordered them for- work as advertised.

I emailed them and asked what nipples I needed for my pistol and they knew exactly what I needed. They fit perfectly.

I have used these Slix Shot cones for my BP revolvers now for over 6 months and I can tell you, they really make a difference over the stock ones that come with the revolvers. The caps don't come off and fall into the action on my Colt clones anymore. That is really awesome!! They are easy to clean, as well. I haven't used them yet. They were easy to install and I'm sure are a big upgrade from the Pietta factory nipples. According to reviews I have read they are which is why I bought them. The owner of this company was great to deal with and answered all my questions. Great to deal with!

I have them on my ‘51 navy and colt walker. They work great for stopping caps from falling back into the action of the gun. I have found the Remington #10 caps to be the best fit. They slide on the nipple and say in place, a great product that I would definitely buy again

I now have these on both of my Remingtons and my extra cylinders. I went the extra mile and picked up the nipple wrench and the loading lever extension (SliX Hand).
