Tried the 185 gr rn as an alternative to the 200 gr rn.
Accuracy was on par with the 200, however more powder is needed to
Cycle the action. Still deciding on what I will use.

I have bought this style bullet before from Badman bullets and have always been happy with the quality and accuracy of these bullets. Great for light less punishing reloads'!

I shoot a lot of coated, cast Bullets. I like the quality and the consistency of Badman Bullets Although I haven’t had the time to work up a good load for the 185gr. RN, I don’t foresee any problems. Brett

coating was spot on with no mares or peeling. Shot true and no barrel cleanup issues beyond the norm. Only thing they need to add is HP options, RP and FP great for plinking but a bullets true colors show with HP and expansion tests.

Badman Bullets is having an issue with keeping up with the current demand of bullets.
America wants lead, and the demand is increasing.
I was forced to find another source of poly coated lead bullets and found another manufacture ( which will remain unnamed.)
They used the same brand of coating, although a different color. This company used a metallic bronze color.
The bullets were of the weight and profile I wanted, but the coating was chipped off about 10% of the bullets.
Needless to say I'll be placing an order for more BADMAN Bullets as soon as they are in stock...they are worth the wait.

Three rounds jammed in the chamber today. The 3rd time I couldn't open the slide and had to stop my shoot. Dangerous situation... I found all the jammed bullets to be too large at .456 diameter. Specs are .452 on these bullets. I have photos if you would like to see them.

After review we found that a few unsized bullets ended up by accident in his box and we promptly mailed another 500 for the trouble. We have since changed our procedure so this will never happen again.

Badman Poly shoot great. No muss and no fuss. I use Badman's in everything from 9mm to 454....... Nice and clean. Try some and you'll know what I mean.

As a Police Officer I associate the color red with fire fighters and Hells Angels. I really have a bad taste in my mouth for the color red. I've shot lead bullets, they are messy and smoky, I've shot blue bullets, and they make my fingers, and feed ramps blue. Plus they seem to have a softer exterior than the red ones. I've shot black coated bullets, And although they are okay, they are more expensive and don't offer the bullet weight and profile of the 185RN. Of course FMJ would be best, but they cost so much more.
So I will continue to send thousands more red bullets downrange as I proudly wear my Badman Bullets hat.

Once again Badman comes through. After some initial problems, Patrick worked with me tirelessly, even sending me some 'inert' rounds. It seems it was 'user' error. This was the 1st time I reloaded 'leads' for my semi. I always used FMJ's or Copper Plated going on the 'less is best theory' when it came to crimping. Also employing the 'Seat and Crimp' Die from Lee. However by simply using the Factory Crimp Die and dialing down one full turn, these bullets chambered and fed better than the others. Accuracy was unparalleled. Seems you can teach an 'Old Dog' new tricks, it just takes longer. I'm a lifelong customer now.

This is a great bullet for shooting WildBunch. It chambers every time in my Remington R1 and RIA 1911's. Every other bullet I've tried has served up mixed results. The Badman bullet is the only one I'll use for WB.

Got 1k of these to run through my DW Valor CBOB.

Had problems feeding at 1.250 coal. Went to coal of 1.265 & fed very well. Minimal barrel leading, easily cleaned with brass brush & a little "lead out" solution.

Excellent bullet, looking forward to the 200 gr. If they ever have them in stock.

Barrel leading in this instance would be caused by using too much crimp and/or not enough case bell while seating the bullet. If the polymer coating is scraped off when seating you will have leading problems.

My first Badman order was 200 grain lswc. As expected, they smoked and left a deposit in my Range Officers barrel. A friend gave me a recipe for a milder reload, WST with a 185 grain RN. I switched to the Polymer and could not have been more surprised. Great accuracy, light recoil and Ta Da, Clean really clean barrel. The free shipping is a bonus. I will be back for more.

I was a doubter. I Love the 185grn Lead Round Nose .45. lightweight, feeds easy. I bought 2k of the polymer coated just to try. All the claims are true PLUS I find I don't have to neck expand as much as with plain lead, and my barrels, fingers and dies stay lead free. much cleaner shooting indoors as well. The photo shows a flat point, however these are a true round nose. These are poly coated all the way around. Some lesser brands don't coat the base.
