These bullets are great in my .45ACP pistol. I use them for competion in IPSC/USPSA matches. The lighter bullet is much more manageable and allows faster recovery and next shot capability compared to standard 230Gr. bullets. The polymer coating is great because it eliminates the smoke from lead bullets with grease ring lube. Being coated also means no lead to handle because bullets are completely encapsulated. Leading in barrel is eliminated and so is lead in air from firing.
These bullets are quite cost effective and I really like them.

With the Badman 160 I have tailored a soft recoil training load for 15 yard practice. The revolver allows this possibility and it is great fun to experience the ability to concentrate more on technique improvement when the bias of hard recoil is diminished

Was very glad to talk to the owner about OAL for .45 ACP 1.164 on the money. I have run these bullets to the brink of insanity @ 1800fps in my 16in CMMG Guard carbine with no ill effects. For mortal loads in handguns most 155gr swc load data will be great (LEE 2ND MANUAL), stick with the oal I posted. These have a very similar profile to the LEE 452-160-rf.Now depending on the brass you use. A lyman M die neck expander and a LEE factory crimp die will get you there every time. I load on a Dillon 1050 and those dies are in place. I generally cast my own. But these bullets were awesome. A++ recommendation

I bought these to load some light 45 colt cowboy rounds. They work great and I haven’t had any accuracy issues. I just wish they were available in different colors.

Generally shoot your 185 polymer in this cal, but gave the lighter bullets on a whim.

I have been using these with the "short" (45 ACP size) Cowboy 45 Special Brass from Starline in my revolvers (3grs Bullseye).
This combination makes 45s really viable for Cowboy Action Shooting. Get you PF down in the 60s with total dependability.

I use these in my 45 Schofield loads.

I have shot with these all last year and the lead deposits are very small. With them being red, I have seen them hit the target using a low load and laughed a bit when the R.O. said he saw it also and I needed a bit more powder. The only neg. is they don't feed well in my auto feed bullet loader die. The coating tends to make the bullet stick in the die.

I wanted a 45 bullet around this bullet weight. I used a 155gr LSWC but one of my 45's doesn't like SWC's I originally ordered 500 as a trial and shortly ordered 1000 when it was apparent that this bullet functioned perfectly .

I purchased the 160 gr. 45 ACP coated bullets.
These bullets are sized very well and their weights are very consistent.

I would recommend these bullets to anyone.
