44 cal. at .428. Loading these on my RL 550 B with Redding Dies and a profile Crimp . The Starline Brass works very well and the loading goes very easy. Have not been to the range yet.

These bullets load well and shoot well in my 73 rifle. I tried different weights and brands. I found these bullets to be flawless and extremely accurate. Badman's 200g 44-40 are the only bullets we shoot in our 1873 Win and 1873 Cattleman. Loads great, shoots even better. Accurate and dependable....just like Badman's themselves. Won't shoot anything else.

I load 44/40's on a 650 with black powder & fine corn cob all out of hoppers. The safety precautions involved make the process intricate. The last thing I need is lead issues. With Badman's I have had no problems, in fact it is much smoother since I switched. The lube has worked very well in my '73. The normal fouling has always been soft.

In the world Of SASS... I have tried several different bullet Companies... always come back to Badman Bullets. I have little leading with them and they shoot great in my Marlin 44-40. Shipping is fast, and I have yet to have a problem with any order I received!

These bullets are by far the most accurate I've ever shot in my Cimarron 1873 short rifle. They are extremely consistent in appearance and weight and whether anyone believes it or not, I have put five shots under a quarter at 21 yards with bullseye powder on several occasions. (My range is only 21 yards, not 25 as are most.)Groups with my 1873 7 1/2 inch Uberti revolver run about 2 1/2 inches at that same distance.
History says Hickok shot a fella at 75 yards offhand. I can easily match that by shooting a 20 inch steel plate at 75 yards one handed with these bullets. Buy em and try em. You won't be disappointed. I'm a permanent customer.
