Great Bullets, Very accurate, no leading in my barrel. I will buy more.

Fired in my Springfield trapdoor 45-70 1884 carbine with modern sights, buckhorn rear. Maximum pressure not to exceed 25,000psi. I have tried .457, & .458 in 330gn. HN, 405gn. FN, & 520gn. RN lead alloy bullets. All .459 Badman Bullets were loaded in Rem-UMC or W.R.A. shells bought as factory loads in the 1960s, not crimped, with CCI or Winchester large rifle primers. One round loaded for each powder being tested. All shot at bench rest using 8 inches splatter targets @ 50 yards. Velocity being measured by a Chrony about 10 feet from the muzzle. First target shot April 11, 2017. All with Winchester primers. These 4 hits all inside the #10 circle. 3 holes touching are Reloder 7, 27gns. @1082fps; Unique, 9gns. @883fps; & IMR 4064, 32gns. @1040fps. One hit below & right of 3 touching, IMR 4320, 44gns. @1166fps and one hit on line between #9 & #10 circles above 3 touching, BL-C(2), 38gns. @1267fps. Second target shot August 8, 2017. All with CCI primers.
Again 4 hits inside #10 circle. Two holes touching: IMR 4064, 35gns. @1080fps and IMR Trail Boss, 12.5gns. @959fps. Above & right of T.B. hole, IMR 4350, 46.2gns. @1037fps and one hit above & left of two touching. 2400, 18.6gns. @1144fps. One hit in #9 ring immediately next to and touching 4350 hole. 405 gr they shoot great in my 1874 sharps.

Shooting my Sharps with your 405 gr. 459 dia. bullets with several different powders is a real pleasure. I have loads that are accurate with each powder. I'm still testing so I'll be getting a lot more. These Bullets are very uniform and consistent, making testing easier.

The weights of the 405gr.459cal bullets are fairly consistent making load testing easier. When I find the right load I'll be shooting more and not using my time testing. 45-70s do burn the powder and lead,but the leading is minimal.

Being a new b at bp cartridge loading, I did have problems at first. Now have bugs worked out,bullets give me tight groups. Can't ask for more.

These 405 grain bullets are excellent and shoot very well out of my Winchester 1885 High Wall, can't wait to try them out of the Marlin 1895 Guide Gun I ordered. To top it off, Badman Bullets is a top notch company to deal with and shipping is very fast.......even to Hawaii!!! This is now my "go to" company for these cast lead bullets.

First time loading for this caliber/Rifle. Loading for Frontiersman category sass- The rifle is a H&R trapdoor Officer mod. New starline brass-50 grains of 2f goex-1/8" cardboard with a wonderwad on between the cardboard and the bullet- got 3" group offhand at 50 yards- 0 fouling- I'm going to load some with a powder drop and swiss- this weekend and will post the results-switched over to the coated 38's and love them- state champ Oregon sr. I have not fired any of these bullets yet. However I have weighed them and all 1000 plus bullets were 1 grain high or low of 405 gr. will give more feedback in future.

Very good accuracy with these in the past, but I haven't been able to try these yet. I see no reason they should be any different.

I've tested at least 25 different types & mfgr's bullets, styles & weights in my Shiloh Sharp 45-70 using smokeless powder this Summer w/benchrest. So far these B.Man 405 gr. RNFP are one of my top 3 bullets choices, maybe the best? Initially ordered only 30 rds. First 15 shot w/29gr. H4198 ok. But the next 15, 5rds./target, using 31gr. H4198 I just about made one ragged hole at 100 yds. w/10x scope. I ordered more & I'm ready to shoot but the weather won't allow it. recently. Can't wait to try again!!

Great packaging and great bullets! I ordered the 100 count box of 405 grain to reload in my Henry 45-70. The groupings were great at 100 yds and the best part is that there was no leading. I will definitely be ordering from badman bullets again.

I found the bullets I needed at a great price on Badman Bullets. Ordered them on a Friday "night" and within 1/2 hour I had a tracking g number. Thinking because I had orders them late on Friday I figured they would actually ship on Monday......I received them on Monday. Awesome. The bullets are great too, all perfectly molded.

These bullets are almost to pretty to shoot. Very uniform and nice looking. They shoot even better than they look. Average groups at 100 yards are 1.255" 5 shot. I will be ordering more in the near future.

These bullets have exceeded all expectations! Uniform in size and weight, with little/no shavings when seating with a small case mouth expansion using Lee dies. Factory crimp holds the bullet well during recoil, no noticeable compression in my Marlin 1895GBL magazine tube. Will absolutely buy again!

These always shoot excellent and my barrel stays clean as a whistle. The only problem I have is they don't last very long!!

I've been looking for some time to find an accurate cast lead bullet to feed my 1895 Marlin in 45-70. Microgroove barrels will shoot cast lead bullets accurately, but they are finicky about bullet diameter and lube. I got the trial pack of 15 from Badman. That day I was shooting 14 different bullets at about 1400 fps. No group was smaller than 2" at 50 yards until I shot the Badman.

Five of them went into one hole of 3/4" diameter. As far as I'm concerned, I've found my accuracy load. I quickly ordered 300 more.

I think the three lube grooves may have something to do with the accuracy in my rifle.

Been looking for 3 years for an accurate cast bullet for my Marlin 1895. Yours put 5 bullets into one hole at 50 yards. Next best was 1.5 inches.

They did a very good job from start to finish to give you all the information you need to know before receiving package. Bullet quality was very good and all though I have not fully tested with assorted powders my results were good with 5744 accurate powder which is my go-to powder for cast bullets 45-70.

I bought these to load 45/70 BPC rounds for my H & R Buffalo Hunter. Other than make me wish my rifle weighed closer to 12 pounds because of the healthy recoil, I was very pleased with the way these bullets shot. 70 grains of Goex ffg behind these 405 gr. bullets packs quite a wallop. The barrel was easy to clean afterward with no leading. I also used a Walters Wad between the powder charge and the bullet.

These are great bullets for a great price. I will not be buying them any where else since trying these. I also gave you guys a plug on Facebook.

reloads with 45-70 405 grain turned out great. Needed 75 for a local cowboy pumpkin shoot. Used 12.5 grains of trail boss and badman bullets. Never a flaw. They are always reliable.

I used the Hard cast 405gr RNFP today in my Marlin 1895 Guide Gun. I tried 3 different hand loads at 50yds with open sights. The best group was a 5 shot at 3/4 in. 4 were in a 1/2 in. and the 5th opened it up. My Marlin has microgroove rifling and have been told cast bullets don't work very well. These cast bullets worked very well. I will be buying more of them.

Purchased these for my Trapdoor Carbine. Awsome Bullets. Great Lube, dosen't get all over your hands while seating them. Appearance is very nice, they make some beautiful rounds sitting in the bullet boxes. I almost hate to shoot 'em. I'm only shooting out to 100 yards and there more accurate than I need. I hope to get my first Rifle Killed Deer (non-muzzle loader) in a couple of weeks in Ohio's revamped Gun Season. I'm sure the'll do the job if I do mine.

Look great and load easily with a lee hand loader. I shoot a H&R Break Action .45/70. with 45 grains of IMR 3031 I get an average of 1540 fps. Exactly what I was looking for.

Promptly shipped and received in excellent condition. Reloaded for H & R Buffalo rifle using 3031 and 8208 XBR powders. Velocity exceeds recommend 1500 fps but no problems with leading. Good, accurate bullet. Will reorder.
