lipstick tubes of destruction
Matthew Graham - 11/16/2025
I don’t do pin shoots but this would be the ticket. I’ve loaded them for up close defense in .38 and .357. They start to destabilize past 25 yards. However an over inch long 230 grain tumbling wad of hard cast would make quite a wound channel.
Closer than that and they are a quite accurate wadcutter. They do look menacing when loaded up.
I don’t think anything would like to get smacked by one of these whether a bowling pin or an a bear.
230gr .357 WC Awesome for Magnum loads with H110
Bond Goodwin - 07/13/2025
This 230gr .357 WC by BadMan Bullets is awesome for making thumper loads using H110 powder: 11.5 grains for pistol and 12 grains for Rossi R92 use exceeding .44 Magnum revolver energy in a carbine length barrel & even more so in a 20" rifle.
230gr .38 Special great for Black Powder
Bond Goodwin - 10/17/2023
This 230gr .357" diameter is great for Black Powder use in the .38 Special case as it has enough 'ooomph' to make for a great defense round as it's a heavy wadcutter and will keyhole in its target.
BamMan Bullets is the only place I know of that has these as I wanna get more beyond just a sample pack in the future = they're that good of a quality!
230gr bowlingpin
Chris - 09/17/2021
Tried these in a .358 wildcat round , pushing almost 900fps in a 15" T/C Encore . The woodchuck never knew what hit him. Will order more in the future.
These bullets are really 😎 cool

I've had a blast experimenting with 230gr bullets.
Great product keep up the good work.
Shoots Great in my T/C Encore
Adam - 02/14/2021
Bought these to see how well my 12" (1:16) Encore pistol in 357mag would handle heavy bullets. They were easy to load, shot straight at ranges I can shoot with a pistol/reflex sight, and didn't leave any leading. Velocity over 10.1gr of Lil'Gun measured just over 1200fps, plenty of power to be entertaining. Just a smidge less would put you right where you want to be for use with a suppressor.
Shoots Great in my T/C Encore
Adam - 01/21/2021
I purchased these to shoot out of a 12" Encore pistol, and they shoot great with the recipe that Badman provided for me, first load shot almost to the POA my sights were already at for 158gr bullets and accuracy was certainly good enough for a pistol. Going to order a larger box to keep the gongs ringing.
Unparalleled KD

Love this company and bullets. Didn't cycle well in my suppressed ruger 77/357 but i knew that. They're stable, darn quiet, and punch though!

Also ask for load data. I didn't have NO.7 or true blue but they have well researched data for things like HS6 and bullseye that works fantastic. These guys know there stuff through testing and legitimate support to there customers.
fast service good products
lonne sower - 11/07/2019
Good service and good bullets. I prefer the coated bullets. Have shot at least 2000 of their .358 158 grain bullets and tested their unique 230 grain bowling pin special bullets for 38/357. These bullets are all way more accurate than I am and the 230 grains will take a pin right off the table.
fast service unique product

Got a sample of 25 230 gn coated lead bullets in about 3 days. They are exactly as advertised. These bullets are intended tor shooting bowling pins. A heavy slow bullet is favored for this sport.
357/38 230 gr WC Pin Loads
Ben Downs - 07/25/2019
Good quality bullets. My Ruger Super GP100 Match just did not like them but they shot very well in my buddy's S&W TTR8. The seemed to shoot better from 38 Soecial cases. Would recommend some to try.
Big Red Crayon
Dan'l - 08/21/2018
The .38/.357 cal 230 gr. WC Bowling Pin Polymer is an interesting product. My sample pack came quickly and was very impressed with how fast it came, in addition to the speedy responses to all emails on load data. Superior service! Initially, I found some seating and crimping adjustments to be a little more difficult than expected to accommodate in my Colt Python. I found the slower powders (Alliant 2400) to produce slightly better groups of 3 inches at 15 y with a little 'yawing' noted on paper targets. The shape and mass does what it is designed to do and knocked trial pins off the table very reliably. The polymer is remarkable to handle and work with. Very clean.
