We've been shooting competitively since 2001 and understand what it takes to win.  Besides lots of practice, a good quality bullet can mean the difference between 1st and 2nd Place.

Competition Shooting Sports involve a lot of bullets being fired through your barrels and a poor quality bullet (i.e. too soft, too hard, inconsistent hardness, wrong lube) will result in leading of your barrels, which means;  inaccurate bullets, hence;  missed shots.

That's why we feel our bullets are the best for low to medium pressure loads.  If you are looking for a "Magnum" load then our bullets are not right for you.  Our bullets function great up to about 1,500 fps.  Velocities over that will result in leading of barrels after multiple rounds being fired.

When we started shooting competitively we were reloading with a Major Brand bullet and consistently had leading problems.  We just thought this was the norm as we were shooting lead bullets.  But it doesn't have to be that way.

In the spring of 2006 we started shooting the Badman Bullet.  We were given some to try by the then owner Larry Bryan and realized how great of a bullet they really were.  They were so good we bought the company in October of 2008.

After purchasing Badman Bullets from Larry and Jacque Bryan we made a few changes (added new bullets and a Black Powder compatible RED lube) to the business but kept the lead alloy mixture that Larry had done so well in formulating.  He and I both agree, that was the best alloy mixture for our targeted audience.  (Pardon the pun)

We then decided to put our bullets to the test;  We wanted to see why our bullets were better.  So for a whole year of competition shooting which included, monthly matches, numerous Local Championship Matches, a State Championship, a World Championship, a Regional Championship and LOTS of practice we estimated we shot approximately 3,500 rounds of ammo through each firearm WITHOUT running a patch, wad, bore cleaning solution or anything that would clean the barrel in anyone of our guns.  We then inspected the barrels and found virtually NO lead in any of the barrels or forcing cones.  The guns still shot Point of Aim (POA) as if they were new.  We confirmed that we had the right formula for bullet hardness, case pressure and proper lube.

Please Note:  A properly sized barrel is very important also.  If your barrels are grossly oversized or undersized leading will occur with anyone's bullets.  Most modern guns don't have this problem.  If you have an odd sized barrel let us know as we can custom size bullets for you.
