NEW Badman 105 grain Bullet

So why is the new Badman 105 grain bullet so great?  What makes it better then the old style?  Why would I want to shoot it?

These are all great questions:

We realized the current 105 grain .38/.357 caliber bullet had its limitations.  More and more shooters, including Long Hunter, past SASS World Champion, are turning to lighter, faster bullets so they can shoot them both in their pistols and rifles with the same powder charge.  The issue that arises in the .38 caliber version is that the overall length (OAL) becomes a problem in the rifles.  If the OAL is too short then the action becomes rougher or stiffer then it needs to be when cycling the rounds through it (66 & 73 users).  In 92's they need an overall longer bullet as to keep more weight out front so you don't have the classic stove pipe problem.

So we decided to design our own bullet to eliminate this problem and meet all these needs.

Here's what we did:

1) We increased the nose length (crimp groove to bullet tip) by .015" which helps the .357 user.

2) We added more bearing surface above and below the lube groove.  This makes the bullet more accurate.  We also have a deeper than normal lube groove which keeps the weight of the bullet down and allows us to increase the volume of lube.  (Actual bullet weight is 106 grains)

3) Most importantly you can now load the bullet longer (out to 1.510") (.38 caliber version only)

4) We sized the point of the bullet to .180".  That is approximately .005" larger than your small pistol primer.

This longer length will allow the bullet to function extremely well in your rifle, whether you're using a Marlin, Rossi, 66, 73 or any rifle.

*Note:  This method is only to be used in .38 caliber applications only.

If you shoot .357's you will have to seat and crimp the new bullet at the crimp groove.  But with this new design you will still benefit from the longer nose length.

We have received a lot of positive feedback regarding this new design and are certain you will like it also.
